Audio-Visual Systems Integration

Bridging the Gap Between Complex Technology and Human Experience

At Hyperstream Systems, we believe that the best technology is the kind you don’t notice. It should simply work—enhancing communication, streamlining workflows, and creating immersive environments without frustration or downtime.

As a dedicated systems integration firm, we go beyond simply mounting displays and plugging in cables. We design, engineer, and deploy intelligent A/V ecosystems that serve as the heartbeat of your facility. Whether you are retrofitting an existing office or breaking ground on a new commercial campus, our approach prioritizes reliability, scalability, and ease of use.

The Hyperstream Approach: Infrastructure First

Modern A/V is no longer just about video cables; it is about data moving across your network. True to our name, Hyperstream Systems treats Audio/Visual integration as a critical part of your IT infrastructure.

We ensure that your network architecture, structured cabling, and power management are optimized to handle high-bandwidth video and audio traffic. This “infrastructure-first” mindset prevents common issues like lagging video calls, syncing errors, and system lockups, ensuring your business communicates at the speed of light.

Our Core Integration Solutions

We provide end-to-end solutions tailored to the unique needs of your space:

  • Conferencing & Collaboration: We build “Zoom Rooms,” Microsoft Teams environments, and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) huddle spaces that allow your team to connect instantly. Our systems feature beamforming microphones and auto-tracking cameras that make remote participants feel like they are in the room.
  • Centralized Control & Automation: Complex systems should not require a manual to operate. We program intuitive touch panels and keypads (Crestron, Q-SYS, Extron) that allow you to control lights, shades, volume, and video inputs with a single tap.
  • Digital Signage & Video Walls: From welcoming guests in the lobby to visualizing data in a command center, we install high-impact LED and LCD video walls and networked digital signage players that allow you to update content globally in seconds.
  • Commercial Audio & Sound Masking: We design distributed audio systems for background music and paging, as well as acoustic sound masking solutions (white noise) to protect privacy and reduce distractions in open-plan offices.

Why Partner with Hyperstream Systems?

We Build for the Future. Technology evolves rapidly. We design systems with “headroom”—using appropriate cabling standards and modular hardware that allows you to upgrade components in the future without ripping out the walls.

We Own the Outcome. From the initial site survey and acoustic modeling to the final cable dressing and user training, our team manages every step of the lifecycle. When you choose Hyperstream Systems, you aren’t just buying hardware; you are investing in a verified, tested, and supported solution.

Workflow & Timeline

Phase 1: Pre-Production & Engineering (Weeks 1-3)

  • Internal Handover: The Sales team formally hands off your project to your dedicated Project Manager (PM). Your PM will reach out to introduce themselves as your main point of contact.
  • Engineering & Submittals: We generate detailed CAD drawings, signal flow diagrams, and rack elevations. We will submit these to you (and your general contractor/architect) for final approval to ensure our plan matches your building’s reality.
  • Procurement: Once drawings are approved, we order equipment.
    • Note: We stage equipment at our secure warehouse first, not your office. This allows us to unbox, inspect, and update firmware before bringing it to your site.

Phase 2: Rough-In (Construction Phase)

  • Structured Cabling: We pull all necessary Cat6, fiber, and speaker wire through ceilings and walls.
  • Backing & Infrastructure: We install floor boxes, wall mounts, and reinforcement backing where heavy displays will hang.
  • Wall Closure Check: We verify all cabling is in the correct spot before the drywallers close the walls.

Phase 3: The “Rack Build” (Off-Site)

  • Rack Fabrication: We build, wire, and label your main equipment racks in our shop. This “pre-build” process reduces our time on your site and ensures a cleaner, tested build.
  • Programming (Beta): Our control programmers begin writing the code for your touch panels and automation systems.

Phase 4: Trim-Out & Installation

  • Device Installation: We mount displays, install cameras, hang speakers, and place table microphones.
  • Rack Delivery: The pre-built racks are delivered and connected to the cabling infrastructure.
  • System Power-Up: The first time the system is turned on to verify power and basic connectivity.

Phase 5: Commissioning & Programming

  • DSP Tuning: Our audio engineers equalize the room, setting microphone levels and eliminating feedback/echo.
  • Control System Finalization: We load the final code and test every button on the touch panel to ensure it triggers the correct action (e.g., “Lights dim, blinds close, projector on”).
  • Quality Control (QC) Checklist: A senior technician runs a 50+ point inspection to ensure every cable is labeled and every pixel is perfect.

Phase 6: Handover & Training

  • User Training: We hold a training session for your staff on how to use the new system (usually 1 hour).
  • Documentation: You receive a “As-Built” package containing system user manuals, warranty info, and network diagrams.
  • Sign-Off: We walk the site with you for final approval.
